Friends n parents are you a wll customer-getting bored without internet in win 7..your waiting is over...here is the way to install ct800p modem in win 7....
lets start:
note:this will only works in win 7x86 (32bit)
follow these steps..
1.connect ur phone with usb cable
2.insert ur driver cd
3.in the driver cd u have 3 options.win2k,winxp,win vista we only need vista driver it works fine for win 7
4.right click on mycomputer>properties>device manager >com ports
see the screenshot (the screenshot provided here ,after installation)
find two interfaces with no drivers in com port with yellow delima sign
right click there>update driver>browse the driver file for vista from the location(ur cd drive).
the bsnl driver is not signed so you got a warning message.avoid it by clicking " continue anyway".now ur driver is installed.
now setup ur Connection.
go to control panel>network and sharing>add a new connection>setup new connection>dail up connection..see the screenshot
password:last four digits of ur phone no.
country zip code ..any..........
